Procurement & Quality
Our Experience is Your Advantage
As part of Sourcengine's continuous commitment to quality and traceability, we detail out D/C as a mandatory attribute for offers and availabilities across all our participating vendors and sellers. If a D/C for an offer is displayed to be within 2 years, it means the vendor or seller behind the availability prioritizes to deliver accordingly. In some rare cases, however, the D/C might turn out to be outside the 2 year window even if it displayed to be within. Our commitment is to contact customers when these circumstances arise before we confirm their orders. This is done in order to receive their acceptance for older than 2 year D/C. Every component purchased through Sourcengine comes with a 3-year warranty.
Sourcengine utilizes a global distribution network to procure your components with one of its approved vendors/sellers. We maintain a rigorous supplier rating system to track the performance and quality of our vendors in real time. This supplier rating system focuses on receipts, quality, timeliness and overall impression. All our components come from traceable and pre-approved sources. Our network of purchasing agents are strategically located and speak multiple languages, making us both global and local at the same time with the capability to work on your requirements 24 hours a day throughout the year.
Inspection Staff Competency
Sourcengine partners with Sourceability's highly trained Global Quality team to ensure component quality. This team embodies the technical expertise to inspect component quality during a 74-step process. Our inspectors have an array of tools available helping them to discover typically undetectable product quality flaws, thus ensuring you will receive best-in-class components in each and every single order.
Our Quality team members implement a 3-tier incoming Inspection process based on the IDEA-1010B standard as well as other stringent industry quality standards. These strict standards ensure the highest quality and complete material conformance.
- Level 1 - Full Traceability
- Level 2 - Secure
- Level 3 - Risk Mitigation
Advanced Testing and Equipment
Components are subjected to a multi-step visual inspection process utilizing various high magnification microscopes (up to 1000X magnification) and digital cameras to document each stage of inspection. Enhanced inspection follows visual inspection using techniques such as marking permanency, product resurfacing or black-topping tests (Heated Solvency tests). Each test conforms to the Sourceability Counterfeit Parts Mitigation Policy.
